Service Projects

In coordination with the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation (IDPR), the local ATV/UTV clubs participated

in a pilot program to install ride over cattle guards in Owyhee County.  Project outcomes will ideally negate the need for users to "open and close" fence gates managed by ranchers, thus preventing the loss of stock or entry of wild horses that cause strain to (Bureau of Land Management) permitted grazing areas.

Below are pictures of the first two cattle guards installed by the Canyon County ATV club.  We have an ongoing commitment to maintain these locations and hope this project will expand to other sites across Idaho as a success

for IDPR, local ranchers and OHV users.
