Wilson Creek Frozen 50K Event
Per the race director, this event will not be held in 2024

The Wilson Creek Frozen 50k offers a unique, winter running experience on the stunning Wilson Creek trail system in January. Runners will traverse the Reynolds Creek gorge and summit Wilson Peak while braving the elements and enjoying the scenery and wildlife viewing opportunities. These trails showcase southwest Idaho at its finest during a time of year when most people are watching the weather from the warmth of their homes.

The above description was written by event organizer Pickled Feet Ultra Running company.  Our local ATV clubs provide support with machines and trailers that transport volunteers and equipment to aid stations.  Weather typically creates unique conditions from rain, snow, below zero temps and on a lucky day...sunshine.  Club machines are dispatched in shifts starting at 6am as runners travel through the first aid station before 7:30am.  Throughout the event, tasks could include transporting photographers, ham radio equipment, injured runners, Pickled Feet volunteers, supply delivery and aid station set up or tear down.

This event continues to be a great opportunity to show our support for another group of outdoor
enthusiasts.
